FINANCE MANAGER

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial management, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and operational efficiency. The Finance Manager prepares financial statements, budgets, supports audits, provides strategic financial insights for decision-making, and maintains relationships with key financial stakeholders and leading the finance team. This position reports to the General Manager.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance in line with financial accounting standards and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and timely statutory filings.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent financial mismanagement and coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA (Zambia)
  • Associate membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants(ZICA) is a minimum requirement.
  • Minimumof eight (8) years of relevant work experience in management or a similar position.
