STORES OFFICER

The Stores Officer will be responsible for managing the hotel’s inventory, ensuring the timely and efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies. The role will involve maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring the availability of supplies for hotel operations, and ensuring proper stock control procedures are followed. Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of stock in line with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to order supplies based on needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Diploma in Procurement, purchasing and supply, or a related field.
  • Membership with the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS)
  • Minimumof three (3) years of relevant work experience in a similar position
